On December 27, 2018, a round table meeting was held on the theme ” Transformation of agribusiness management experience of the European Union in Kazakhstan and Central Asia».

The moderator of the event was Pritula R. A., candidate of economic Sciences, Ph. D.d, corresponding member of MAAO (international Academy of agrarian education), Professor of Economics at KEEU.

The purpose of the event was familiarization with the experience of management in agribusiness of the EU and the possibility of its integration in Kazakhstan; familiarization with the agricultural policy of the EU. The main objective of this event is to discuss the developed working programs of the training course.

Reports were presented at the round table on the topics of the training course. So, Vice-rector for science KEEU Amangeldy Shayakhmetov told about management in agribusiness the EU, master of economic Sciences, Dean of the economic faculty of the University’s students Tatyana Ostryanina about the methodological foundations of investment management, master of management, specialty “Agricultural management”, head of Department of Economics and management KEEU Gulmira Sarsembayeva presented a report on the management and planning of investment activities. The Dean of the faculty and moderator module Jean Monnet Galiya Ishmuratova made a report on “basics of EU agricultural policy”. Also the speakers were: the rector of the University’s students Sabit Ismuratov, head of Department of standardization and food technologies Ginia Aseev, Vice-rector for academic development Duzelbaeva Gulnara, Professor of the Department of economics and management Raisa Pritula, head of the research Department Zhamalova Dinara, head of the Department of computers and automation held Zhunusov Kuat.   In General, the work of the round table was fruitful, in a lively discussion and with the firm intention of further cooperation in the implementation of the plans.

Thus, each teacher for General discussion presented a list of issues that are considered in the framework of the topic, presented a list of basic and additional literature. Each theme of the course contributes to new areas of research on issues related to the agricultural policy of the European Union, will contribute to the strengthening of the integration of European education in Kazakhstan and will serve as a motivation for further training of students in the European Union.
