Last week, our university held a training course “European Union agribusiness experience” within the framework of academic mobility of the International School of Economics and Management of the Consortium of Agricultural Universities for the Development of Central Asia and the South Caucasus – CASCADE (КАСКАД). More than 300 students from fifteen universities of six countries participate in this mobility: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
The opening of the training course was held solemnly with the participation of all coordinators, teachers and students of partner universities, moderated by the executive secretary of the CASCADE (КАСКАД), the head of the EcoGIS center, Pulatov Alim Salimovich. At the beginning of the event, the President of KEnEU, Doctor of Economics, Professor Sabit Borisovich Ismuratov made a welcoming speech and presentation of our university, after which representatives of the universities participating in the International School wished our team success and a productive week. Also Sabit Borisovich, as the head of the Erasmus + 599371-EPP-1-2018-1-KZEPPJMO-MODULE project “Transformation of the EU agribusiness management experience in Kazakhstan and the countries of Central Asia”, within which the discipline presented on mobility was developed, shared information on the implementation of the project and, together with all the teachers of the course, revealed the content of the curriculum. After the grand opening, the online lecture session immediately began according to the schedule.
The academic week ended successfully with students passing the exam and making final grades. The successful implementation of the training course by our teachers is proved by a large number of positive feedback from students and record attendance. Such partnerships and participation in international projects contribute to improving the quality of education and upbringing of the younger generation in the context of internationalization.
