On March 28 at KEEU the project participants organized a “round table”, in the discussions of which Kostanay farmers, representatives of the public, regional government agencies took an active part. The event allowed determination of the knowledge in the field of agricultural policy of the EU, Kazakhstan and Central Asian countries. Also outlined problems in the agribusiness in Kazakhstan and generated prospects. According to the results of the “round table” was developed by resolution, all material posted on the website of the University published in the Republican newspaper.
The program of this event was aimed at increasing the interest of civil servants not only to the agricultural policy of the EU, but also to other economic and social areas. Civil servants will be able to apply their knowledge in the preparation of proposals to improve the state policy of Kazakhstan. Farmers had a unique opportunity to get acquainted with the practical experience of EU agribusiness.This year, the European Commission is celebrating the 30th anniversary of Jean Monnet. Jean Monnet’s 30th anniversary in 2019 provides an opportunity to discuss its impact on European research around the world, as well as its broader impact on the global community.
