Within the framework of this project, KEnEU introduced a new course “Transformation of the experience of agribusiness management in the European Union to Kazakhstan and Central Asian countries”, which allows to increase the level of professional knowledge, skills and abilities of students – future specialists in the agricultural sector of the economy. For the successful implementation of the project for the period from 01.09.2018 to 27.08.2019, a whole range of activities aimed at achieving the project goals was carried out.
Head of the scientific research sector, Dinara Zhamalova, spoke about the production of organic products in Europe. The global market for environmentally friendly food is tens of billions of dollars, and the annual growth rate in developed countries is 20-30%. The main reasons for this phenomenon are: environmental food crises of the last decade (epidemic of mad cow disease, epidemic of foot-and-mouth disease, bird flu, etc.) and growing distrust of conventional products; public concerns about the harm of genetically modified components contained in food. The governments of developed countries actively support eco-production, as it helps to strengthen the domestic market, increase exports and help solve economic and environmental problems.
Concluding the conference, Gulmira Sarsembayeva, Master of Agricultural Management, gave a comparative description of the applied methods of business planning of investment activities in the European Union and Central Asian countries.
